Grand drive
Grand drive

Wednesday 9th October

Our route out of Quebec City took us along the St Lawrence River waterfront right through Downtown, including the Old Town to the bridges to allow us to cross to the south of the river. Then we followed the southern bank for over 2 hours ... what a scenic drive it was with glimpses of the river, and backdrops of Fall colours in the trees all the way.

The drive today was 4 hours 10 minutes, but we lost another hour as we changed timezones. Our destination today is Grand Falls, New Brunswick, another province under our belts in Canada.

We arrived at 3.10 pm, checked into our B&B and headed straight for the Grand Falls and Gorge walk. After Niagara Falls, and Montmonrency Falls yesterday, we weren't expecting a lot, but when we got there, it was far from grand. Apparently the best season for viewing is the end of Spring when they are their grandest ! not to worry, it was still very picturesque and a very nice walk.
