Rough Itinerary
So here we are only a week away from flying out for our 2023 European adventure. We started at thinking Turkey, Greece and southern Italy as our target destinations. After many chats, research and investigations we have a relatively rough idea of where we are heading.
Fly into Istanbul, check out Cappadoccia, Ephesus, Pamakule, ending our Turkish sojourn in Mamaris
Ferry to Rhodes, then across to Crete, island hop our way to Athens, fly to Rome and grab a rental car and visit Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Puglia, Umbria and maybe even Tuscany again.
Fly out of Rome on November 5th
Well, here we are on 31st August, having arrived home from Norfolk Island early hours of Tuesday – complete with bronchitis, sinusitis, etc. Thankfully it didn’t spoil our time on the Island – which was wonderful.
Anyway, having had a look at your itinerary – we will be very keen to track your Italy adventures. We have just paid for airfares to Croatia and Italy next May and June. We start Italy in Rome and travel probably the same route as you guys are doing, down to Puglia via Amalfi. Keep those photos coming!! Hope you are having a fab time already!
