This time the capital of Connecticut!!

We woke to a rainy morning which didn't stop for most of the day, along with a mid morning temperature outside of a chilly 6 degrees C. We are heading south for a while with a view to spending some time in Rhode Island. We drove through Springfield Massachusetts on the way and this brings the number of states we have visited to 25, plus 3 Canadian provinces.

Our stop in Springfield was a quick one, checking out Downtown and a few buildings and finding a Starbucks for a coffee. It was raining most of the time.

Pressed on toward Hartford and rain staying with us all the way. Checked into our motel which has the biggest room and bed! We overlooked a lady in a very short red dress that is loitering around the motel..dressed so scantily and with the day being so cold !! I

We headed into Downtown for a walk around in the rain and cold conditions, checking out the State Capitol Building and other historic landmarks.
