Friday 28th August, 2026
Up at 5am, breakfast at 6am, leaving on jeeps for a safari in the Chitwan National Park. We saw 13 rhinos, vultures, spotted deer and a wild boar. Very wet and damp and we were the only 2 jeeps there. The army patrols the park for poachers. We ha a great ride, it was a real jungle here with overgrown paths and dense foliage.
Back to the camp around 10.30am and had lunch. The rest of the day was a free afternoon and Tania had a henna design put on her hand and Graeme caught up with the blog which was finished by 4.30pm.
Of course she did!
